Financial Aid
Families are invited to apply for Financial Aid by completing the online financial aid application form:
The deadline for applications from returning families is April 30. Families new to BCCS may apply at other times throughout the school year as long as it is within 30 days of being accepted into the school.
Although applications are processed through FACTS Grant & Aid, all decisions for the granting of aid are ultimately made by the Financial Aid Committee of BCCS. The Financial Aid Committee is comprised of two Board members as well as the BCCS business manager. This committee holds all information submitted to FACTS and/or the Financial Aid Committee in the strictest confidence.
All current family recipients of financial aid must have completed their required 12 volunteer hours at BCCS for the current school year, and have logged them into the FACTS SIS Family Portal by the end of July, in order to finalize their financial aid award for the next school year.
All families are encouraged to apply for financial aid if finances are or will be a key reason their children would NOT be able to attend BCCS. However, applying for financial aid does not automatically mean you will be granted assistance.
Even if you think you would not receive BCCS financial aid, but you reside in a low-achieving school district, you may be eligible to receive OSTC scholarship funds and should apply for these scholarships through the FACTS Grant & Aid financial aid application. Make sure to mark Penngift Foundation as an institution that is permitted to receive a copy of your application.
