Athletic Program Overview

BCCS offers a variety of opportunities for students to participate in Athletics.  Our Athletic Program strives to teach students to work at whatever they do with all of their hearts and to do everything for the glory of God.

At the High School level (Grades 9-12), BCCS competes in the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) in girls' volleyball, boys' soccer, and boys' volleyball.  We play independent schedules in girls' basketball, boys' basketball, track & field, and cross country.

BCCS student-athletes also have the opportunity to participate in football, girls' soccer, girls' tennis, golf, swimming, baseball, softball, boys' tennis, and girls' lacrosse through a cooperative agreement with Blackhawk High School.  Participants/families must pay a separate fee which varies per sport, per season, based on a fair-share percentage ranging from $300 to $1500.

Since joining the WPIAL in 2008, the girls' volleyball team won the WPIAL Class A Championship, the boys' soccer team reached the WPIAL Class A Championship game, and the boys' volleyball team won the WPIAL Class AA Championship twice and reached the PIAA Class AA Championship match.

At the Middle School level (Grades 6-8), BCCS competes in the Greater Pittsburgh Christian Athletic League in coed soccer, girls' volleyball, girls' basketball, boys' basketball, and boys' volleyball.  We also offer opportunities for 5th and 6th grade basketball and volleyball.
